Workflow monitor

The Workflow monitor has a command bar for working the board in bulk.

What you can ask

  • Reassign: "Reassign everything waiting on Taylor Brooks to Riley Chen".
  • Escalate: "Escalate items breaching in the next 10 minutes".
  • Claim and release: "Claim the unowned orders at the trader stage"; "Release my items".
  • Priority and comments: "Set violations to high priority"; "Comment on item 42: client called".
  • Filter and open: "Show me overrides older than an hour"; "Open item 42".

Items are picked from the board as you see it (type, stage, owner, desk, SLA status, minutes to breach, age, account, symbol, priority).

What it never does

Approve. Approving and rejecting happen on each item's own screen, with four eyes (the requester never approves, nobody approves twice). A command can open that screen, never approve. Asking the bar to approve gets a plain "no" with a link.

How it works

Plan (typed actions, never code), preview (every item, its owner or priority before and after, what is left out and why), confirm (typed confirmation above 10 items), then each action goes through the workflow engine, which checks your role again: reassigning and changing priorities are for Operations, Compliance, Admins and desk heads. If the board changed after the preview, nothing runs and you get a new preview. Everything is in the event log and the AI log; a Viewer can only filter.
